Pinellas County Hunter Association (“PCHA”) is taking into consideration the published guidelines of the CDC and State and local authorities as well as USEF. The following protocols became effective June 9, 2020 and have been updated for all shows going forward and may be subject to change as necessary.
This event is open to the general public. Please note that you will be required to sign the FSFA waiver at the entry gate to the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center as well as you must sign an assumption of risk and waiver of liability relating to COVID-19 for PCHA. You can download the waiver here.
•ALL riders, guests, trainers and assistants MUST sign a waiver of liability related to the spread of Covid-19. •Face masks are optional for anyone on the show grounds • Masks will be available free of charge in the show office. • Hand washing sanitizing stations will be placed arena side and restrooms will be cleaned throughout the day. • It is recommended each rider bring an ample supply of hand sanitizer and personal protection items they feel necessary for use throughout the show (ie; barns, arenas, door handles, etc.) • Anyone handling a jump rail, gate or jump cup it is suggested that youwear gloves • Ingates will have whiteboards posting approximate division start times. • We suggest you and other exhibitors or spectators maintain a 6’ distance from each other. • When you come to the show office or ribbon/award areas to wait in line we ask you keep a 6’ between everyone. • PCHA is offering EXPRESS CHECKOUT free of charge. Fill out an envelope with contact details when leaving your check at the office and your statement will be mailed to you upon conclusion of the show. • Masks are optional to enter the fairgrounds office to order shavings or rent golf carts. PCHA and/or the Florida State Fairgrounds Bob Thomas Equestrian Center may ask any individual to leave the Horse Show Property should that individual choose to willfully ignore published protocols.
